Cayuga Landscape Company purchased the old Bakers Acers in August 2021. Our beautiful 80-acre farm includes our growing facility, numerous green houses, display gardens, a 5-acre apple orchard, beehives, a pond, a 10-acre maple-hickory forest, and about 50 acres of fertile farmland sloping to the south.  We also have a large picnic shelter and chicken barbecue building that are used by community groups here in Lansing.

We are a growing center where you can buy plants directly from the grower. Our vision is to grow a wide variety of hardy shrubs, trees, perennial flowers, herbs, fruiting plants, annuals, and organic vegetables that are available at our Cayuga Landscape location. Only 10 minutes North of McKissick Farms.

McKissick Farms is a part of Cayuga Landscape Co., Inc., which has been a Lansing business for 46 years.  Our McKissick Farms growing center is named in honor of my mother, Audrey McKissick Fernandez, a master gardener and poet, who inspired me (and my brother Peter) to study landscape architecture and ignited in us a passion for plants.

At McKissick Farms, we have a team of experienced plant lovers and cultivators, led by Cassandra Knapp, who has long experience in nursery production. With our focus on horticulture, orchard apple growing, and farming, we hope to be a community resource for garden plant lovers. We are not developers. We love this 80-acre farm and the Bakers Acres farm history, and we will respect it.
